AREAS OF SUPPORT

Wooden signpost with mental health terms in a forest path.

There is no single reason why people come to therapy. At different points in our lives, we may find ourselves facing challenges that feel difficult to carry alone, experiencing patterns we would like to better understand, or navigating situations that are affecting our wellbeing, relationships, or sense of self.

Whatever your reasons for seeking support, your experiences are unique to you.  Some of the areas I commonly work with include:

Relationship Difficulties

Communication • Boundaries • Conflict • Family Relationships • Break-up • Trust

Relationships can be a source of both fulfilment and challenge. Whether you are experiencing difficulties with a partner, family member, friend or colleague, or finding yourself repeating the same relationship patterns, therapy offers a space to explore these experiences with curiosity and compassion. Together, we can develop a deeper understanding of what may be affecting your relationships and work towards healthier ways of relating to yourself and others..

Emotional Wellbeing

 Anxiety • Worry • Stress • Burnout • Overwhelm • Panic

Anxiety can leave us feeling overwhelmed, constantly worrying or finding it difficult to switch off. Together, we can explore the thoughts, feelings and experiences that may be contributing to your anxiety, helping you develop greater self-understanding and healthier ways of coping.

Low Self-Esteem

 Confidence • Self-Worth • Self-Criticism • People-Pleasing • Self-Doubt • Assertiveness

Low self-esteem can affect how we see ourselves, our relationships and the choices we make. Therapy offers a supportive space to explore the experiences that have shaped your self-belief, helping you build confidence, self-acceptance and a kinder relationship with yourself.

Grief and Bereavement

Bereavement • Loss • Anticipatory Grief • Relationship Loss • Adjustment • Meaning

Grief is a natural response to loss, but every person's experience is unique. Whether you are grieving the death of someone close, the end of a relationship or another significant life change, therapy offers a safe and compassionate space to process your emotions and find a way forward at your own pace.

Life Transitions

Relationship Changes • Career Changes • Parenthood • Retirement • Identity • Life Adjustment

Life is full of change, and even positive transitions can feel unsettling. Whether you are experiencing a relationship breakdown, changing careers, becoming a parent or adjusting to another significant life event, therapy can help you make sense of your experiences and move forward with greater confidence.
