ABOUT ME

My Journey

My journey to becoming a counsellor began through my own experiences of loss, change and navigating some of life's most challenging moments. During those times, counselling provided me with a space where I felt truly heard, understood and supported. It helped me make sense of difficult experiences, develop greater self-awareness and find a way forward when life felt uncertain.

Those experiences shaped not only who I am as a person but also the therapist I have become. They gave me a deep appreciation for how unique each person's story is and how important it is to have a safe, compassionate space where thoughts and feelings can be explored without judgement.

My hope is to offer others the same sense of safety, understanding and acceptance that I experienced through therapy. I believe that when we feel genuinely heard and supported, we are better able to make sense of our experiences, develop greater self-awareness and move towards meaningful and lasting change.

Professional Background

My professional training is in Integrative-Relational Counselling, which enables me to draw from a range of therapeutic approaches rather than working from a single model. This allows me to tailor therapy to your individual needs, recognising that every person's experiences, relationships and circumstances are unique.

I work with adults across the UK, providing online and telephone counselling on both a short and long-term basis. As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work within the BACP Ethical Framework, ensuring that my practice is safe, professional and confidential.

Alongside my core training, I am committed to ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD), regularly undertaking additional training to broaden my knowledge and continue developing my practice.
